About the Wall Panel
The Play-Up panel is a framed brick board for the wall. It arrives assembled, with the hanging hardware and instructions in the box, so there is nothing to build before the building starts.
Two sizes: a brick area of 24 by 34 inches in gray or blue, and a 34 by 44 inch panel in green. Check the wall before you choose: the larger panel needs a clear run of about four feet.
What it does not do
- It is heavy for a single nail. Hang it into studs or with the anchors from the box.
- Check the corners when it arrives. Two owners had a panel arrive bent, and a bent frame will not sit flat on the wall.
- The edge of the frame is plain. One owner plans to add trim around hers, so picture it framed by your own wall, not a gallery mount.
Small parts and younger children
Our plates and the panel are large pieces. The bricks that go on them are small parts, which federal rules keep away from children under three.
How it works at home
A wall build stays where it is. Nobody sweeps it off a table to make room for dinner, and a child works standing up, at eye level, with both hands free.

Like Moths to a Flame!
I recently purchased one of the Play-Up Panels to use in our Kindergarten & 1st Grade Classroom at the church I work for. Our kids love playing with Legos, but I loved the idea of the kids having a new way to engage with the Legos, and to build something together.

Such a neat product! Kids love it!
We received our Play-Up panel a few days ago. I was impressed with the packaging and love the sleek look. After unpacking, my kids and I couldn't help but play with it on the floor for awhile making designs, flowers and Star Wars scenes. We used Legos and Duplos. The mounting instructions are clear and simple with pictures to help.
